APRIL International UK Announces Huge Premium Reductions
LONDON, August 4, 2016
APRIL International UK, the specialist international private health insurance provider, has slashed sterling prices by up to 35% across its long term Individual private international health insurance policies. US dollar pricing has been reduced by up to 43%, whilst euro denominated policies are down by up to 40%.
The move will see premium reductions of over a third on April International UK’s entry cover levels and up to 26% on comprehensive cover levels. The new pricing applies to Individual long term new business policies incepted from 1st August 2016.
For a typical 39 year old expatriate living and working overseas, this could save anything from just under £700 in annual premium costs, depending upon the range of benefits and policy option taken.
Commenting on the pricing initiative, APRIL International UK’s Business Development Director Joe Thomas said, “Since rebranding and launching APRIL International UK at the end of last year, we have seen significant inflows of new business and a strong commitment from existing and new brokers. We have set ourselves ambitious growth targets and introduced a number of new business efficiencies. The latest reductions in premium rates together with the enhancements introduced last year will help us achieve these goals.”
Globally, the APRIL Group cover almost 6 million policyholders worldwide, representing some 86 different nationalities located in more than 120 countries. The company has a hard earned reputation for delivering service excellence and flexible underwriting solutions, actively helping brokers to grow their businesses.
