LONDON, October 13, 2016

The Platinum Group, organisers of The National Asian Wedding Show and India Fashion Week London, are proud to partner with electrical beauty and grooming brand, Braun.

For over 2 decades Braun has been providing women, including brides, with a range of beauty and hair removal products to look and feel at their most beautiful. As the number one epilator brand in the UK, Braun offers a range of hair removal and hair styling tools, whatever the need and whatever the occasion.

This year Brain is proud to partner with The Platinum Group -organisers of The National Asian Wedding Show and India Fashion Week London. Following on from the overwhelming success of last year’s inaugural India Fashion Week London, the event set out to revolutionise the UK’s Asian fashion market through a range of NEWGEN and fusion designers. This year Braun and the Platinum Group will build on that platform to deliver the 2016 line-up of the hottest upcoming British Asian, Asian, NEWGEN and fusion designers.

Through the Braun India Fashion Week London event consumers will have access to a whole host of NEWGEN and fusion designers set to take this year’s catwalk ramp by storm and raise the profile of British Asian fashion couture. Confirmed international designers fresh off the ramp from Lakme Fashion Week in India include Shantanu & Nikil, Swapnil Shinde and Bhumika & Jyoti.

Zbyszek Kalenik, Communications Manager of Braun said, “As a business we strive to bring a fusion of design and function to all of our products, so a partnership with Indian Fashion Week London -a platform for brands with a shared ethos -is a natural step for the brand. We are thrilled to be catwalk-side supporting the latest trends and innovation across fashion and beauty within the market and proud to offer our beauty and grooming expertise throughout the event.”

Manny Singh, founder of the National Asian Wedding Show said, “Historically Eastern fashion has played second fiddle to a British Asian audience who have been heavily influenced by the west, but with the growth of western brands in India and mainstream British retailers introducing eastern tones and styles in their collections, we’ve discovered a host of designers who understand their collections need to be designed for a western mainstream audience. Gone are the days where an outfit can only be worn for one occasion, designers are producing outfits that can be mixed and matched with other garments and have the longevity in a more mainstream wardrobe. Braun India Fashion Week London will bring these designers to the forefront and will educate the UK consumer about fresh, couture and fusion designs, whether they are Asian or not.”

The events will take place at ExCel London on the 14th, 15th and 16th of October 2016, with closed door fringe events taking place across Central London.
