LONDON, October 21, 2016
CRI Group, a global provider of business intelligence and investigative services, has launched an “Anti-Bribery and Corruption Centre of Excellence” which will utilize the company’s expertise to assist business organizations worldwide in the specialized area of integrity due diligence and compliance.
The Centre of Excellence will provide consulting services to businesses seeking to validate or expand their existing compliance frameworks by developing the latest in best-practice due diligence processes and procedures necessary for pursuing and maintaining global third-party affiliations.
As a vital component of the Centre of Excellence, CRI Group has announced a program called “3PRM-Certified™,” a certification it awards to clients who successfully complete a third-party risk management and integrity due diligence assessment and training session, which is designed to help companies establish, implement, maintain and enhance their internal anti-bribery and anti-corruption systems.
The “3PRM-Certified” certification will also include compliance training for the new “ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management Systems” and a comprehensive integrity due diligence report. The certification will help establish that the organization has implemented reasonable and proportionate measures designed to prevent bribery. These measures involve top-level leadership, training, risk assessment, due diligence, financial and commercial controls, reporting, audit and investigation.
CRI Group will operate the Centre of Excellence through its highly recognized global network of certified compliance and ethics professionals, certified fraud examiners, corporate and financial investigators, forensic accountants and analysts.
“As the world’s governing bodies gravitate to more stringent standards and efforts to prevent corruption, bribery and other unethical business practices, we stand ready to help companies meet and exceed those standards,” commented Zafar Anjum, Group Chief Executive Officer for CRI Group.
Anjum noted that the 3PRM-Certified training will greatly help organizations that have established affiliations with outside parties through such relationships as supply chain manufacturing and other business partnerships, pending acquisitions, joint ventures or co-marketing alliances.
“Aside from establishing compliance with international standards and bolstering an organization’s anti-bribery and anti-corruption program, certification through CRI Group’s 3PRM-Certified training could potentially reduce corporate insurance premiums and ultimately improve quality control and enhance productivity over time,” he said.
