Business profile: Hillcrest Surgery aims to provide a high quality of care to all our patients to the best of our ability and resources available. We aim to respect patient privacy, confidentiality, dignity and cultural beliefs.
Hillcrest Surgery is based in Acton, W3 and has been established since the early 20th Century. The practice has been a teaching practice for medical students since 1972 and a training practice since 1997. In 2008 the surgery became a Development and Research Practice under an Ealing PCT initiative and successfully bid for monies to support a non-research enquiry in to end of life care in nursing homes. The Practice has also taken part in a number of large research projects.
We provide a wide range of services here on site for our patients including minor surgery, coil fitting, INR monitoring, phlebotomy, diabetic and asthma specialist clinics as well as travel vaccinations and all general nursing and GP services.
We are involved in teaching medical students, junior hospital doctors and GP Registrars. In addition, the district nurses help train nurses. This all helps ensure that we work to the highest standards. We are committed to providing a high quality service and staff training is a priority, so we do occasionally shut, or run reduced services for this to happen.
