SAN FRANCISCO, May 26, 2016
One of the UK’s top 20 interior designers and top 10 most followed British designers on Twitter, Liza Evans, has been shortlisted for a Living Space Global Award in this year’s prestigious International Design and Architecture Awards. The shortlisted project is a luxury residence in San Francisco. Public voting will commence in August and winners will be announced on September 2, 2016 at a ceremony at London’s Dorchester Hotel.
“I’m thrilled to be in the running for this prominent award and am proud the project has been so well received in San Francisco’s booming residential market,” says Ms Evans, whose design studio is based in London and San Francisco. “Our Californian business is growing so the nomination is very encouraging for us.”
Ms Evans was appointed by international real estate brand Crescent Heights® to design a model residence interior for Jasper, a 400-foot high-rise considered an iconic addition to the city skyline. Jasper’s residents have exclusive access to a state-of-the-art fitness center, an indoor-outdoor saline pool and hot tub, a full-service business center, The Lounge with private cabanas and The Dark Room, a sleek onsite theater. Other amenities range from a 24/7 concierge service, valet parking and electric car charging stations to in-room spa treatment services.
“Liza’s unique design perspective brings an effortless elegance and warmth that resonates for potential clients. ‘Home’ is where you retreat from the world and Liza’s design has had very wide appeal,” says Roman Speron, Crescent Heights® Regional Manager.
Furnishings were sourced locally to offer accessibility if residents chose to replicate the designs. Suppliers include Restoration Hardware, Williams Sonoma, Crate & Barrel, HD Buttercup, Jonathan Adler, Room & Board, Pottery Barn and West Elm.
The shortlisted model unit at Jasper is the second model residence in San Francisco designed by Liza Evans for Crescent Heights®. Ms Evans’s studio worked previously on a model residence at the award-winning NEMA, the next generation luxury apartment tower in Mid-Market.
