Reward Gateway announced today that it has acquired the UK business from LogBuy. Founded in 2005, LogBuy is one of the oldest voluntary benefits providers in the UK and helped pioneer the category. LogBuy is used by over 200 companies in the UK, including Philips Electronics and Laing O’Rouke.
Reward Gateway welcomes all LogBuy UK clients into its family and every client will be upgraded to a 24/7/365 a year employee helpdesk. Clients can also take advantage of a wider range of solutions, including reward and recognition products, employee communications, wellbeing, and the integrated employee engagement platform, SmartHub®.
The two companies have worked on bringing their benefit programmes together so that both Reward Gateway and LogBuy clients will see the benefits from both programmes.
The Reward Gateway acquisition marks the sixth that has taken place within the RG Engagement Group’s portfolio, which is fuelled by a $220m investment by Boston based financiers Great Hill Partners LLP.
The business also announced it has appointed Matt Drew as Director of M&A to increase the speed and scale of future deals. Matt joins the business having previously acted as a mentor at VC accelerators Seedcamp and Cyber London.
