LONDON, September 26, 2016

Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) industry leader, SOTI, today announced 41 per cent growth in EMEA with a significant rise in the demand for SOTI’s solutions in the region. The business is exceeding industry growth rates published by analyst firm Ovum which highlight EMM solutions are set to grow at a CAGR* of more than 24 per cent to reach $11.5 billion USD by 2020.

SOTI’s regional growth stems from its proven leadership in driving strategic enterprise mobility enablement, leveraging its full ecosystem of business transformation strategies, robust partner network, and award winning SOTI MobiControl solution. Recognised as an industry visionary by key analysts and influencers, SOTI’s deep management of every connected device, including IoT peripheral devices, as well as applications, content, users, and security enables businesses to gain a competitive advantage and drive productivity gains through mobility.

SOTI will be showcasing its plans for future EMEA growth at its annual event, SOTI SYNC, in the UK between 26th and 28th of September.

SOTI’s key EMEA regional highlights include:

41 per cent EMEA Sales Growth: SOTI’s sales in the EMEA region grew 41 per cent in its fiscal year ending July 31, 2016, attributed in large part to the region’s retail, hospitality, transportation, logistics and field services industries driving the greatest adoption. According to a recent SOTI research study, “over 40 per cent of EMEA-based companies are engaged in or exploring mobile initiatives.” The potential for continued growth in the region, as outlined in the SOTI white paper, is significant as enterprises strive to take advantage of the strategic benefits mobile and IoT bring to their business.

Double-Digit Channel Revenue Growth: With a focused execution of its strong channel strategy, SOTI experienced a 60 per cent annual growth in European revenue from the channel over the previous fiscal year.

Over 50 per cent Expansion in Channel Partner Ecosystem: In the EMEA region over the last fiscal year, SOTI grew its channel base by 58 per cent. This growth can be attributed to the Company’s award-winning 5-Star SOTI Altitude Partner Program, which provides lucrative benefits, as well as the recent surge in adoption of mobility in key regions, including the UK and the Nordics. As enterprises demand increased value from mobile investments, SOTI continues to be the top choice of channel partners who seek solutions that can manage the broadest range of connected peripherals and mobile devices, regardless of OS.

New Office Announced in Sweden: In addition to the company’s EMEA regional HQ based in Birmingham, UK, a new SOTI office has been opened in Gothenburg, Sweden to support the demand and strong channel growth in the surrounding areas.

Expanded EMEA Leadership: Nassar Hussain, formerly Sales Director of SOTI’s European headquarters in the UK, has taken a new role as Managing Director, EMEA, responsible for the company’s business efforts and strategic direction throughout the region, while continuing to drive business and channel growth. Also joining the team is Stefan Mennecke who will lead regional sales for the DACH region, to facilitate the territory’s aggressive growth, particularly in the German region where SOTI has seen significant adoption of its solutions with many EU organisations headquartered there.

More than 35 per cent Increase in EMEA Headcount: SOTI has also increased its EMEA headcount by 38 per cent in the last year, cementing its commitment to expanding operations. This growth will address the increasing demand for SOTI solutions and bolster the Company’s regional support for the growing number of customers and partners. Over the next two years, the Company plans to further increase headcount in the region, to complement existing operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Nassar Hussain, Managing Director, SOTI EMEA says, “Mobility is a business critical issue, and as more European businesses recognise its importance, we are helping them to maximise the value and return on their investments in mobility strategies. By facilitating this change, we are increasingly seeing our customers disrupting their industries, making great strides in innovation and enhancing customer experience over their competitors, as well as becoming more efficient and resilient.

“Beyond mobile, Western Europe is leading the way in adding IoT connections and we are working with some of the largest European organisations to ensure they make the very most of the data gained so they can grow and diversify. We’re delighted by our growth in Europe and excited about what we will achieve in the next year. It shows we are disrupting more than mobility.”
