1. Our services
London Business Directory provides an online platform operated by AIDA Online Marketing Ltd that allows businesses located within the M25 area (Greater London) to create and publish business listings, and for users to search and view those listings.
The Services are intended for use in the United Kingdom. If you access the website from outside the UK, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for complying with any local laws that may apply in your location.
We make no representation that the Services or any content on the website are appropriate or available for use in other countries, or that they comply with laws outside the United Kingdom.
2. Intellectual property rights
Our intellectual property
We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our Services, including all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics available through the Services (collectively, the “Content”), as well as the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the “Marks”).
Our Content and Marks are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws and treaties in the United Kingdom and internationally.
The Content and Marks are provided through the Services on an “as is” basis for your personal use or for your internal business purposes only, except for materials, such as business names, logos, descriptions, and other content, provided by our clients for the purpose of publishing their business listings. Such client-submitted materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Your use of our services
Subject to your compliance with these Legal Terms, including the “Prohibited activities” section below, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to: access the Services; and download or print a copy of any portion of the Content to which you have properly gained access, solely for your personal, non-commercial use or internal business purpose.
Except as set out in this section or elsewhere in our Legal Terms, no part of the Services and no Content or Marks may be copied, reproduced, aggregated, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted, distributed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose whatsoever, without our express prior written permission.
If you wish to make any use of the Services, Content, or Marks other than as set out in this section or elsewhere in our Legal Terms, please address your request to: support@londonbusinessdirectory.net. If we ever grant you the permission to post, reproduce, or publicly display any part of our Services or Content, you must identify us as the owners or licensors of the Services, Content, or Marks and ensure that any copyright or proprietary notice appears or is visible on posting, reproducing, or displaying our Content.
We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you in and to the Services, Content, and Marks.
Any breach of these Intellectual Property Rights will constitute a material breach of our Legal Terms and your right to use our Services will terminate immediately.
Your submissions
Please review this section and the “Prohibited activities” section carefully before using our Services to understand (a) the rights you give us and (b) the responsibilities you have when posting or uploading any content through the Services, or sending to us electronically.
Submissions: By directly sending us any question, comment, suggestion, idea, feedback, business listing details, or other information about the Services (collectively, “Submissions”), you acknowledge and agree as follows:
- Business listings:
Submissions may include information you provide for the purpose of publishing your business profile, such as your business name, address, email address, telephone number, website link, map location, business description, services offered, photographs, videos, product images, qualifications, awards, accreditations, logo, and social media links. - Ownership and rights:
You retain ownership of the content you submit for your business listing. However, by providing this information, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, display, and distribute your content through our website and related promotional channels, solely for the purpose of operating, marketing, and improving the directory and related services. - Other submissions (feedback etc.):
Any other Submissions, such as questions, comments, suggestions, ideas, or feedback unrelated to a business listing, shall be assigned to us. We may use and share these freely for any lawful purpose, commercial or otherwise, without acknowledgment or payment to you.
Your responsibilities:
When submitting any content, you:
1. Confirm that you have read and agree with our “Prohibited Activities” section and will not post, send, upload, or transmit anything that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, false, or otherwise unlawful.
2. Warrant that the content you provide is your own or that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and authority to share it.
3. Confirm that your Submissions do not include confidential information.
4. Agree to indemnify us for any loss or claim arising from your breach of this section, infringement of third-party rights, or breach of applicable law.
3. User representations
By using the Services, you confirm that:
1. All registration and listing information you provide is true, accurate, current, and complete.
2. You will keep your information up to date and correct any changes promptly.
3. You have the legal authority to enter into these Terms and to act on behalf of the business you represent (if applicable).
4 .You are at least 18 years of age.
5. You will not access or use the Services through automated means (including bots or scripts).
6. You will not use the Services for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.
7. Your use of the Services will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
8. You will only submit listings that relate to businesses operating within the Greater London area.
If you provide false, misleading, or incomplete information, or if we reasonably believe that you have done so, we may suspend or terminate your account or your access to the Services without notice.
4. User registration
You may be required to register to use the Services. You agree to keep your password confidential and will be responsible for all use of your account and password. We reserve the right to remove, reclaim, or change a username you select if we determine, in our sole discretion, that such username is inappropriate, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
5. Purchases and payment
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all transactions made through our Services. You also agree to keep your contact and payment details up to date, including your email address, payment method, and card expiry date, so that we can process your transactions and contact you if necessary.
Current offering
At present, we offer a single paid product: lifetime business listing. The payment for this product grants you ongoing inclusion of your business listing on our website, subject to compliance with these Terms of Service and any applicable policies.
Future offerings
We may introduce additional paid products or services in the future, such as enhanced listings, advertising placements, digital resources, or online courses. Prices for all products and services are subject to change at our discretion.
You agree to pay all charges at the prices in effect at the time of purchase and authorise us to charge your chosen payment provider for these amounts. All fees are payable in pounds sterling (GBP). Where required, VAT or other applicable taxes will be added to the price.
We reserve the right to correct any errors or mistakes in pricing, even if payment has already been requested or received.
We may refuse, limit, or cancel any order placed through the Services at our discretion, including if we believe the purchase was made in breach of these Terms or for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.
Refunds, cancellations, and listing management
All payments for business listings are non-refundable once your listing has been published on the website, as the service is considered delivered at that point.
If you submit a listing but it cannot be published due to non-compliance with our Terms or submission requirements, we will review the matter and may, at our discretion, issue a partial or full refund.
You may request changes to your listing, such as updates to business details or media, at any time. Requests can be made through the website or by contacting us directly.
If you wish to remove your business listing from the directory, you may do so upon request. Removal does not entitle you to a refund, as the listing service has already been provided.
For any future digital products, courses, or other paid services, refund or cancellation terms will be stated clearly at the time of purchase.
If you believe you have been charged in error or need assistance with a transaction, please contact us promptly using the details provided on our Contact page. We aim to resolve billing issues as quickly and fairly as possible.
6. Subscriptions
We do not currently offer subscription-based products or recurring payment plans. All paid listings and services are available as one-time purchases only.
If we introduce subscription options in the future (for example, enhanced listings, advertising placements, or access to premium features), full details of the applicable terms – including billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund policies – will be provided at the time of subscription and made available in an updated version of these Terms of Service.

11. Term and termination
These Terms of Service remain in effect for as long as you use the Services.
We reserve the right, at our reasonable discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to the Services, remove any listing or content, or delete your account without prior notice if we believe that you have:
(a) breached these Terms of Service or any applicable law;
(b) submitted false, misleading, or inappropriate information; or
(c) used the Services in a way that may cause harm to other users or to our business.
If your access or account is suspended or terminated, you must not attempt to create another account or access the Services using a different name, identity, or details.
We also reserve the right to block certain IP addresses or take other technical measures to protect the integrity of the website and its users.
Termination of your account or access does not limit our right to pursue any other remedies available to us, including legal action if appropriate.
12. Modifications and interruptions
We may update, change, or remove parts of the Services or the Content from time to time, for example to comply with legal requirements, improve functionality, or reflect changes in our business.
We also reserve the right to suspend or discontinue all or part of the Services if London Business Directory or AIDA Online Marketing Ltd change or cease their operations. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuation of the Services.
While we aim to keep the Services available at all times, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, technical issues, or other factors may occasionally result in temporary unavailability or delays.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of any significant changes or planned downtime where possible, but we are not responsible for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by your inability to access or use the Services during any interruption or update period.
Nothing in these Terms obliges us to maintain or support the Services, or to provide ongoing updates, upgrades, or new versions.
13. Governing law
These Terms of Service and your use of the Services are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
You agree that any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14. Dispute resolution
Informal negotiations
To help resolve any dispute, claim, or disagreement arising from these Terms of Service or your use of the Services (each a “Dispute”) quickly and cost-effectively, both you and we agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally. Either Party may start this process by sending written notice to the other Party describing the Dispute and proposing a resolution. Both Parties shall make reasonable efforts to resolve the Dispute within thirty (30) days of such notice before taking further action.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms of Service, and any Dispute or claim arising from or related to them, shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
If the Parties are unable to resolve a Dispute through informal negotiations, each Party agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any Dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Services.
Exceptions
Nothing in this section limits either Party’s right to seek an injunction or other urgent relief to protect its rights, including intellectual property rights.
Time limit
Any Dispute must be raised within one (1) year from the date the cause of action arises, unless a longer period is required by law.
15. Corrections

We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update the information on the Services at any time, without prior notice.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any loss, damage, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
- any content, material, or information you submit, post, or publish through the Services;
- your use or misuse of the Services;
- your breach of these Terms of Service; or
- your violation of any law or the rights of a third party, including intellectual property rights.
This means that if your actions or content cause a legal claim or cost against us, you will be responsible for covering those losses.
We reserve the right, at our own discretion and expense, to take over the defence or settlement of any matter that would otherwise be subject to your indemnification, in which case you agree to cooperate fully with us.
19. User data
We store and process certain data that you provide to the Services, such as your business listing information, account details, and any other data submitted through the website, for the purpose of operating and improving the Services.

You confirm that you have not relied on any statement or representation that is not expressly set out in these Terms.

We may transfer or assign any of our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation at any time. You may not transfer your rights or obligations to anyone else without our prior written consent.
If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that part shall be treated as removed, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
